Efficient Smart Manufacturing | PRESSLER Creates Continuous Fully Automated Door Ring Hot Pressing and Laser Cutting Production Line, Boosting Hot Forming Manufacturing Productivity

In today's era of profound transformation of manufacturing driven by the Industry 4.0 wave, PRESSLER has successfully created an integrated hot-formed door ring intelligent production workshop that combines efficient production and precision manufacturing. This workshop achieves takt time matching between laser-cut door rings and hot-pressed door rings, from door ring blank loading to finished product stacking after hot pressing, cutting and leak detection.

This is a fully automated continuous production equipment, and also the world's first continuous production equipment for door rings. Each link is interconnected through automated equipment and information systems, forming an intelligent system for continuous production, significantly improving production efficiency and product quality.
Door Ring Hot Pressing Production Line

The hot pressing production line has an L-shaped layout. The heating furnace uses PRESSLER's self-developed multi-layer roller bottom heating furnace. After the material sheets are unstacked and marked by robots, they are sent to each layer of the heating furnace for heating through a continuous material elevator. After heating, the output is sent to the press feeding system and fed into the press. After the hot pressing process, the products are unloaded by robots onto the plate chain line, and the plate chain line transports the products to outside the line for inspection and collection. The total length of the production line is only about 40 meters, with a compact structure, providing an innovative solution for the large-scale production of large hot stamping parts.

After hot forming, the door ring is automatically transported by the handling robot to the laser cutting machine line, and accurately loaded to the six-station laser cutting machine rotary worktable. This production line achieves seamless connection between processes. Through the automated transfer system, it ensures that the hot-pressed door ring semi-finished products can be quickly and accurately transported to the laser cutting area.
Multi-station Laser Cutting Production Line

Compared with a single laser cutting machine, PRESSLER's self-developed six-station laser cutting machine can decompose the cutting process of formed parts into various stations with independent laser cutting mechanisms. Each station can carry out cutting work simultaneously, with higher cutting efficiency and integration. Its flexible production system, combined with various sensors and robotic arms in the production line, supports one-click switching of production for multiple part models, improving production capacity while maintaining high adaptability.

After the cutting process is completed, the vision robot system automatically judges the quality of the finished products. Qualified products are picked up by the unloading robot using flexible fixtures without damage, and accurately placed into designated finished product stacks.
