Pressler® HFL Multi-layer Roller Hearth Heating Furnace Hot Pressing Line
Pressler combines the advantages of roller hearth heating furnaces and traditional box-type heating furnaces to develop a multi-layer roller hearth heating furnace, which not only improves the efficiency of the heating furnace but also takes into account the thermal energy utilization rate of the heating furnace.
Taking double door ring hot forming products as an example - this type of parts has large dimensions and high process requirements. Traditional long-line roller hearth furnaces require a single furnace body length of about 50 meters, making the entire line layout extremely large. Under the same production cycle, Pressler's multi-layer roller hearth furnace body length is only about 7.5 meters, with the entire line length controlled within 30 meters, shortening nearly half compared to traditional long-line roller hearth furnace production lines, greatly improving factory space utilization efficiency.
High Space Utilization
Multi-layer roller hearth heating furnace adopts multi-layer stacking design, which can achieve a larger heating area in the same ground space, greatly saving factory space.
Better Energy Consumption
The multi-layer furnace body structure is more compact, the ratio of furnace wall heat dissipation area to effective heating area is smaller, heat loss is relatively small, which helps reduce energy consumption.
Fast Production Rhythm, High Production Capacity
Production rhythm: 3~4 strokes/minute (1.4mm thick B-pillar); Production capacity: calculated based on 300 working days, 24 hours/day, OEE at 85%, ≥1 million strokes/year;
Reduced Cost
Compared with imported lines, cost reduction of over 50%
Intelligent
Servo-controlled presses, multi-layer box furnaces and other intelligent equipment, automatic loading and unloading, intelligent central control, intelligent information management system.
Multi-layer Roller Hearth Heating Furnace

The core of Pressler's multi-layer roller hearth hot press production line lies in its multi-layer roller hearth heating furnace. The multi-layer roller hearth heating furnace combines the advantages of traditional box-type furnaces and roller hearth furnaces, with 8 relatively independent furnace layers set inside one heating furnace, which not only improves the efficiency of the heating furnace but also takes into account the utilization rate of its thermal energy.
Main Features
- 8 layers, 2 zones, each layer has insulation, and each zone has independent temperature control;
- Double-layer furnace wall to prevent hot air leakage;
- Can monitor furnace gas temperature, material temperature, furnace wall temperature, furnace door cooling water temperature, etc., in real-time;
- Unique stacked furnace door structure ensures smooth continuous operation of the heating zone and sealing of the furnace opening;
- Discharge speed greater than 2m/s.
Multi-layer vs Single-layer Roller Hearth Furnace
| Furnace Type | Single-layer Roller Hearth Furnace | Multi-layer Roller Hearth Furnace |
|---|---|---|
| Footprint Length | >30m | <8m |
| Operating Energy Consumption | High | Low |
| Material Sheet Deviation | Shorter sheets more prone to deviation | No deviation |
| Abnormal Sheet Handling | Long handling time | Very easy to handle |
| Equipment Cost Comparison | High | Low |
| Production Hot-pressed Parts Price | High | More than 20% lower than competitors |
